Hello my name is Hali (pronounced hay-lee) Swatzell and I am in my late 20's wrestling with who I am, what I believe in, and trying to find a place where I belong.

I am a Christian learning what it means to live this out in my context and continuing to grow in my faith and walk with Christ. Just saying that sounds easy, except it is a life long journey of ups and downs, of failures and successes, and constantly seeking God through it all. I plan on sharing the highs and lows here as I continue growing on my journey. There will be a lot of learnings and a lot of resources to pull from. Right now I am in seminary so a lot of my perspective is tying from this. I am deeply seeking to share my experience and to solely give my point-of-view. This is a limited perspective as I am a white female in a Southern city, but it is what I bring to the table. I plan on sharing the things that I am learning as I seek out others perspectives and stories and learn from others worldviews.

I want to seek out vulnerability and how I am working towards a life that truly embraces this and builds strong relationships with others through that.

I am not perfect, and I have made many mistakes. I fail and fall on my face (metaphorically speaking) quite a lot. I am learning and growing from each and every life choice and the consequences that come from them. Something to bear in mind when browsing this blog is that the opinions and perspectives that I hold are more than subject to change as I learn and grow in my understand of various topics. I ask that this be a place of grace as I and others wrestle with different topics and create a safe and open space to do so.
